By Michael Corthell
Blue, big and round
An orb; solid and sound
Remotely powered by a plasma ball
That rushes around an eternal hall
Traveling with neighbors of variable sizes
Useful enough, full of surprises
Mobile, bright and nimble
Spinning on axis, protective thimble
Many homes like ours exist among dark matter
With the whole of it looking like one random splatter
A spark planted three ages back
Lit the house up for something we lack
Veritas, verity we look for it here
but in reality more -- it is everywhere.
but in reality more -- it is everywhere.
Ship sailing on a gravity sea
We were with him that created thee...
