Potholes! Potholes!! Potholes!!!

Potholes! Potholes!! Potholes!!!

Potholes, Potholes, Potholes in the dooryard
Filling them in seems so damn hard!

Unless I'm with My Millie and her blue sled...
I worked her so hard she looked half-dead!

Potholes can be small and some can be grand
All we need to fill ‘em is just a little sand

We shoveled the dirt carefully in to each divot
It was so much fun – Life! how we live it!

One hole then the next, two, three and four
...Oh no...Millie I can see there're many more!!

Then Barb came to look and said, ''It looks Very Nice!''
We said, ''We're havin' so much fun, we'd like to do it TWICE

Millie and me workin' out in the yard
We do it with love, so it's never really hard...

Potholes! Oh Potholes!! Large and small
I know you loved this poem but now, that is all!
