History is Not Necessarily the True Story

''The more I read and study history, the more awareness I have that the writers have agendas and conflicting versions of historical events must be studied closely. A much celebrated and topical event today (May 2013) is the Benghazi story. It illustrates the burning of Hillary Clinton's legacy of public service and indirectly Barack Obama's place in history. Today, the ebb and flow of the mainstream media's agenda(s) shapes the books of history as never before. A grain of salt is more than needed to digest, assimilate and catalog the daily news cycle. Let the news consumer of today and the future student of history beware.''
